Born in West Memphis, AR I grew up in Indianapolis and have always considered this my hometown from the age of 3.  Honored to be raised by a very hard-working single mother and driven entrepreneur who taught me to the importance of education and perseverance.  As a child I always wanted to follow her lead and own my own business from cutting grass to odd jobs and experiments in self-employment.  Avid outdoorsman with a passion for high alpine backpacking testing your limits, and cold swims in the streams and lakes they offer.

I transitioned into college at Indiana University where I met my wife, confidant, business partner, self-employed entrepreneur, and caring mother of our 2 boys, Sweet Melissa.  Graduated IU Kelley School 1996 earning a B.S triple in Marketing / Distribution / International Business, 2 weeks later Melissa and I were Married.  2 weeks following the wedding we decided to head away from the home base and landed in beautiful Winona, Minnesota starting my career at in logistics routing trucks and learning distribution.  Self admittedly I was never one enjoy corporate life but fell in love with the scenery surrounding that town that became the birthplace of our first son.

Newborn baby boy in arms, we moved on to Minneapolis to manage a small freight brokerage then back home to Indy and continued that line of work until I became involved in Business Development for a local warehousing company.  This was the moment where I started to see the vision and path for a market wide open to specialized promotional kitting and assembly services.

Approaching 21 years ago Feb 13, 2002, I quit my well-paying comfortable job with Melissa’s full support, jumped into the darkness & unknown of the self-employed.  Reflecting on the progression, the risks, the decisions and the outcomes it amazes me how we learn.  What hidden treasures of knowledge appear in disguise as hardships, and the irreplaceable pride and value my wife and I cherish knowing we survived the gauntlet that so many new companies get stuck in.

Today I am thankful for our dedicated and focused team of experts @ MSL Copack & Ecomm and MS Transportation.   I am grateful for each and every loyal vendor that we have had the honor of working with along the way. I am honored to have collaborative competitors whom we trust to talk about intimate business dealings without threat and share in each other’s success.  I cherish the relationships we have formed with our clients who trust their brands reputation in our hands.  I am especially thankful for my driven and supporting wife and life partner who has supported the vision through thick and thin without ever changing course.
